Just when I thought I couldn’t possibly love Aaliyah’s 1996 single “One In A Million” more than I already did, Tink came along almost 20 years later and released “Million” — a Millennial-era love song that seemingly introduced one of my favorites to a new generation. Also produced by Timbaland like its predecessor, the song includes slightly chopped elements of the melodic “One In A Million” chorus while featuring Tink’s heartfelt harmonies and signature brassy yet reserved rap style. Maybe it’s nostalgia or that thing I have for Tink, but this jam that revived one of my Aaliyah favorites is always worth the rewind.
