A few months back, I noticed that trying to fight the good fight against workplace germs left my hands out here losing — losing moisture. Between consistent washing and squirts of hand sanitizer, I needed a product that could keep my hands and cuticles moisturized, but not excessively greasy in the cold of my office space.
After trying out a few drugstore finds that just didn’t cut it unless I mixed them together (true story), I stumbled upon Udderly Smooth Hand Cream, a daily moisture agent that I think I can rock with for the long haul.
The faintly fragrant hand cream, originally developed to be used on dairy cows like another product my family swears by, is substantial enough to keep my hands hydrated yet light enough to not leave residue all over my workstation. Featuring ingredients like deionized water and lanolin, the hand cream is reminiscent of the NIVEA Creme I used years ago in its creamy consistency, but not nearly as weighty.
The Bonus? Hand care isn’t Udderly Smooth’s only specialty. Much to my interest — and the disappointment of my wallet — the brand also features a moisturizing body lotion and few creams with shea butter that I might just have to add to my summer skin-care lineup the way the season’s heat and humidity are set up.
